While it will be Aric Almirola behind the wheel of the Ford Fusion the outsides will be branded with the letters STP.<\/p>\n<p>What began as a deal in 1972 has become a friendship over the last 40 years. It will be the second straight season that the #43 RPM car will be sponsored by STP in the Kansas race which is titled the STP 400.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been an STP man since &#8217;72 and  it&#8217;s hard to believe that it has been 40 years since I started working  with STP,&#8221; said Petty. &#8220;They have remained a big part of my career and  it&#8217;s been great having them back at the track.
