With just three top ten finishes on the season Hornish&#8217;s time driving the No. 9 Ford Fusion at Richard Petty Motorsports is coming to an end.<\/p>\n<p>Hornish will not return to RPM next season but just who will drive the team&#8217;s second car remains to be seen. RPM&#8217;s other driver Aric Almirola, driver of the No. 43, currently sits 17th in the point standings.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters team owner Richard Petty said the organization is still looking at what to do with the car currently driven by Hornish.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re still working on what we&#8217;re gonna do with the 9 car (Hornish) and crew and all that stuff,&#8221; Petty said. &#8220;Things are looking up.
