Aided by Reddit and Dogecoin he upset Danica Patrick to win the fan vote and earn entry into the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star race at Charlotte.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the first season this car has raced full-time, it\u2019s my first year with the team and working with Gene [Nead], my crew chief, so I feel like we\u2019ve learned a lot to this point and we definitely have weaknesses to address and gains to make over the off-season,\u201d Wise said.<\/p>\n<p>PPR will again operate as a one car team in 2015 something that the 31-year-old is comfortable with.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is where I plan to be,\u201d he said. \u201cI think that [co-owner] Phil [Parsons], myself, we all came into this this year knowing that we wanted to work hard and build this thing from the ground up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019ve got a lot to do,\u201d Wise said. \u201cI\u2019m hoping we can actually go to the wind tunnel; we don\u2019t get to go to the wind tunnel at all, or shaker rigs or pull-downs, so I\u2019m hoping we can actually do some development and learn some things to apply.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After running 35 races for Phil Parsons Racing and finishing 36th in the driver standings Josh Wise will again be behind the wheel of the No. 98 car for the 2015 season.
