No matter what side of the breast feeding debate you are on, Kahne’s response was inappropriate. His responses were nothing more then the OH NO THERE IS A BOOBY OUT type of talk that you would expect to hear from a young boy or uneducated yokel.<\/p>\n

Is Kahne wrong to have his beliefs? No. Is he wrong to post them on twitter in the manner he did? Definitely.<\/p>\n

Since then this thing has taken on like a wild fire and the fan favorite has had to release an apology.<\/p>\n

I understand that my comments regarding breastfeeding posted on Twitter were offensive to some people. For that, I apologize. It was in no way my intention to offend any mother who chooses to breastfeed her child, or, for that matter, anyone who supports breast feeding children. I want to make that clear.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In all honestly, I was surprised by what I saw in a grocery store. I shared that reaction with my fans on Twitter. It obviously wasn’t the correct approach, and, after reading your feedback, I now have a better understanding of why my posts upset some of you.<\/p>\n

My comments were not directed at the mother’s right to breastfeed. They were just a reaction to the location of that choice, and the fashion in which it was executed on that occasion.<\/p>\n

I respect the mother’s right to feed her child whenever and wherever she pleases.<\/p>\n

I am not buying the statement myself. If nothing else for the fact if he truly meant what he wrote in the last sentence he never would have whipped out his phone and took his thoughts to twitter.<\/p>\n

Lets hope Kasey Kahne does not need to make any trips to Target<\/a> in the near future.<\/p>\n
