He will also have to attend an anger management class.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kvapil\u00a0faced misdemeanor\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/nascar\/story\/2013-10-10\/travis-kvapil-arrest-wife-assault-charges-domestic-dispute-sprint-cup-bk-racing\">c<\/a>harges of false imprisonment and assault on October 8, 2013. \u00a0According to police records, Kvapil\u00a0was accused of pulling his wife \u00a0by the \u00a0hair into a bedroom and allegedly struck her in the head. Alcohol nor weapons were involved according to the police report.<\/p>\n<p>Under the prosecution agreement, the charges against Kvapil will be dropped. The news was first reported by The Sporting News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, I\u2019m embarrassed about the situation,\u201d Kvapil said following his arrest in October.\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t like the negative effects it\u2019s brought on. So I apologize to NASCAR, my team, supporters of my team, my fans anyone else who was impacted by what happened Tuesday night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kvapil drove for BK Racing for both the 2012 and 2013 season, competing in 71 races between the two seasons with a best finish of ninth coming at Talladega SuperSpeedway in 2012.
