He finished 17th.<\/p>\n<p>Bayne raced for Michael Waltrip Racing to start the 2009 season and even made a bit of a name for himself with 4 poles but was let go due to sponsorship concerns. He was almost immediately signed to a contract by Roush-Fenway Racing and placed into the #17 ride to finish out the season.
