A week after a strong finish at Daytona, Ty Dillon took third in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race from Atlanta Motor Speedway. That was enough to move Dillon to the top of the Xfinity Series points tied with Chris Buescher.
Buescher finished second a week ago and added a fourth place run on Saturday. Last week’s winner Ryan Reed drops to third eight points out of the lead.
Last year’s champion Chase Elliott recovered from his first career DNF a week ago to finish in the top five.
