Deeming it purely financial, Summit Motorsports Park owner Bill Bader Jr. announced in a Facebook Live video on Thursday that he was going to open the season.
“We are opening. Summit Sports Park is not going to wait for permission,” Bader said in the video. “Summit Sports Park is not going to wait for Dr. Fauci and wait for Amy Acton and wait for Mike DeWine because none of them even know I exist and none of them really care.”
“We are starving, as honest as I can possibly be,” said Bader as he detailed a plan to host another Facebook Live next week where a full schedule would be announced.
