Two days after using a racial slur, Kyle Larson has been fired from Chip Ganassi Racing.
The news comes a day after all three of Larsons major sponsors announced the termination of contacts which involved their companies appearing on the No. 42 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Cup Series. McDonald’s, Clover and Credit One Bank all terminated contracts on Monday as CGR initially suspended Larson without pay.
CGR announced they were ending their relationship with Larson in a statement on Tuesday.
Larson was heard saying “you can’t hear me? Hey, n—-r” while chatting to other participants during an iRacing event on Sunday.
