This weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is at Kansas Speedway for the second Sprint Cup Series race of the Contender Round.
Last weekend Joey Logano earned entry into the Eliminator Round but two more drivers could do as much with a win this weekend at Kansas or next weekend at Talladega. Overall eight driers will move onto the third round.
On track action starts Friday with both the Sprint Cup and Xfinity Seires running practice. On Saturday the Xfinity Series is in action for the Kansas Lottery 300 and then on Sunday it’s the Cup Series competing in the Hollywood Casino 400.

While temperatures will be in the low to mid-60s in Kansas City, KS fans will be happy to know that rain should not be a factor with sky’s expected to be clear all weekend.
