The familiar colors of Aaron’s will not appear on a car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series during the 2016 season.

With Michael Waltrip Racing set to close it’s doors at the end of the 2015 season, the Atlanta based rent to own store will not be on a car. Currently they appear on the No. 55 Toyota Camry drive by David Ragan.

“We have decided to take some time off from a team sponsorship for the 2016 season. The NASCAR fan base is an important audience for us and we have built substantial equity over the past 15 years. We are exploring creative ways to continue to participate in the sport in 2016 including media, brand relationships and track activation,” said Aaron’s in a statement via Sports Business Daily.

Aaron’s has been rumored to be speaking to multiple teams about sponsorship deals for next season but now appears set to find other ways to market to NASCAR fans.
