Chase Elliott wins Virginia529 College Savings 250, NASCAR Xfinity results from Richmond

Chase Elliott won Friday night’s Virginia529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

The driver of the No. 9 Napa Auto Parts Chevrolet beat out Kyle Busch to claim the win at RIR.

Kyle Busch began the race on the pole and in the closing laps would battle Chase Elliott who was tyring to break a 39 race winless streak in the series. Elliott was able to win the race and cut Chris Buescher’s point lead down to 21.
