Joey Logano wins at Watkins Glen, NASCAR Cheez-It 355 results

Joey Logano won Sunday’s Cheez-It 355 from Watkins Glen.

The driver of the No. 22 Shell Ford Fusion beat out Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick to the finish line in the final road NASCAR Sprint Cup Series road course event of the season.

AJ Allmendinger began the Cheez-It 355 on the pole but his chances of winning went away when he cut his car off early to conserve gas. The race looked like it was Kevin Harvick’s to win but he would run out of gas on the last lap finishing third. Harvick’s misfortune was to the delight of Logano who snuck by him to win the event.
