It would not be a race at Kentucky Speedway without KFC.
Cole Whitt’s No. 35 Ford Fusion will be wrapped in the red and white of Kentucky Friend chicken as it pays its respects to Colonel Harland Sanders.
Whitt will also carry one of a handful of in-car cameras for Saturday’s race.
“It’s cool that KFC is bringing the Colonel to NASCAR,” Whitt said about his car for Saturday’s race. “We’ve got a lot of fun things planned with KFC to bring attention to the Colonel this weekend, and we’re looking forward to it.”
Whitt has finished 16 of the 17 races on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule thus far. His best finish was a 13th at Talladega.
