Matt Kenseth wins Food City 500, full NASCAR Sprint Cup results from Bristol

Matt Kenseth won Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from Bristol Motor Speedway.

The driver of the No. 20  finished ahead of Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon to claim the win in the Food City 500.

Kenseth began the 500 lap race on the pole while Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch both saw time at the front of the field early on. Rain threatened the finish but after a green white checkered it was Kenseth beating Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon to the checkered flag.
