Catepillar has extended its sponsorship of the No. 31 Chevrolet SS driven by Ryan Newman.

I am proud to be associated with Caterpillar. As much as they love racing and our passion for it, I also share their love of Cat equipment by using it at my property.”

The world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives began as a sponsor in NASCAR in 1993. They began to sponsor cars at the Sprint Cup Series level in 1997. Catepillar began sponsoring the No. 31 car in 2009 when Jeff Burton was behind the wheel of the car.
