Jeff Gordon will leave Pocono Raceway with the points lead in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Matt Kenseth entered the day with a two point lead in the standings but after 160 laps at the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway the new points leader is Gordon by 16. Based off of wins Earnhardt Jr. is the points leader with two wins and then the most points.

Winners thus far this season include Dale Earnhardt Jr (2), Kevin Harvick (2), Joey Logano (2), Jimmie Johnson (2) Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski and Jeff Gordon. These drivers are all but assured a spot in the Sprint Chase.
