It’s a bird, it’s a plane — no, actually that is just Jimmie Johnson’s race car sporting a new Spring paint scheme this weekend at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Cali.
To commemorate the start of Spring, Johnson’s No. 48 Chevrolet SS will feature some additional character during the next three NASCAR Sprint Cup weekends.
The Lowe’s marketing campaign which features a bird and green accents will adorn the No. 48 for the races at Fontana, Martinsville, and Texas.
Johnson has won five times at Auto Club Speedway.
