How good was the No. 4 Chevrolet of Kevin Harvick on Sunday?

Good enough that Brad Keselowski said the race was over before it began.

“They beat everybody before they came to the track today.  It’s a great combination.” said Keselowski. “They were prepared for the weekend.  Rodney Childers to me is like a rubber stamp carbon copy of Paul Wolfe.  He’s a great crew chief.  It was just a matter of time before he got the great combination he excelled with.”

Keselowski’s team fought to a third place finish without Wolfe who was not at the track on Sunday after his wife gave birth to their first baby.

“They were really prepared.  We saw it all the way through testing, that they were dominant.  They showed it when they came to the actual racetrack to race.”

And while Keselowski said the race was over, the racer in him kept hoping for just the right adjustment.

“Always hope it falls that way, and maybe next time it does.”

Keselowski is hoping to bounce back from a down 2013 season that saw him miss the Chase, a year after winning the Sprint Cup Series Championship.
