Brian Vickers won the Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon on Sunday.
Brad Keselowski began the race on the pole while Jimmie Johnson started the race 43rd after his qualifying time was disallowed.
The first caution came out when Joey Logano lost control of his car on lap 4. A few laps later Marcos Ambrose was spun by Kevin Harvick causing damage to Casey Mears and others. By the second caution Johnson had already worked his way up to 25th.
STANDINGS: Johnson leads but its tightly packed for wild-card spots
Both Kyle and Kurt Busch would see time at the front of the field. Matt Kenseth would take the lead with a two tire stop prior to halfway.A mixture of tire strategies took place at this point with Tony Stewart taking the lead with less then 100 to go.
With 76 laps to go Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman, battling for eighth, made contact damaging both drivers cars. Kenseth who had been carving his way though the field would have to pit for tires.
With 14 laps to go Brian Vickers got around Stewart for the lead. Caution would come out for debris with five to go. Vickers would get a great restart as Stewart ran out of gas. The win was first for Vickers wince Michigan in 2009.
