Speedweeks kicked off Thursday and first off, NASCAR Media Day.When Danica entered the room she informed media that she would only answer racing related questions, but then immediately started talking about her relationship with Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
Patrick confirmed last month that her and Stenhouse were dating, an interesting spin after she had just announced in November that she was divorcing her husband of seven years.
Patrick joked that she had told Stenhouse to ask her out on an “official date” and that she was planning to cook for him on Valentines Day.

As for racing against each other on the track, she said with a wink that if he gets into her that he, “better have a really good, ‘I’m sorry.”
Patrick and Stenhouse Jr. are both racing full time for points in the Sprint Cup series this year, running against each other for Rookie of the Year. Patrick will play double duty at Daytona racing for Turner Scott Motorsports in the NNS in the No. 34 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet.
