Dale Earnhardt Jr. and JR Motorsports are launching their own podcast network, entitled, “Dirty Mo Radio.” It will be an online home for radio-style podcasts centrally themed around NASCAR’s 10-time most popular driver. The debut will be on Monday, Feb 18 with The Dale Jr. Download – a weekly podcast that will recap Earnhardt’s previous race weekend with behind the scenes insights from team members, media and family.

Dirty Mo Radio will be based at Earnhardt Jr.’s official site, www.DaleJr.com, they will also be available free of charge on sites such as ITunes.

It will be hosted by popular North Carolina radio personality Taylor Zarzour and air every Monday throughout the NASCAR season. Earnhardt Jr. himself said he will be in and out of the podcast, but will hold a major interest in the programming.

“It’s similar with what we did with our old XM radio show, but a little bit more professional than that,” Earnhardt Jr said. “We were pretty ragtag back then, really didn’t know what the hell we were doing. I mean, it was fun, but we didn’t work hard enough to try to be relevant and stick around.”

Dirty Mo Radio received its name from the Earnhardt Jr.-created – Dirty Mo brand. They plan to add programming throughout the year as it builds to become the ultimate haven for Dale Jr. digital entertainment.

It’s an opportunity for fans to get to know what is happening around the company, and whatever pops up, such as what is going on downtown at night club- Whisky River, Jr. said.

“Racing is the biggest part of Dale’s life, but it’s not the only part. We hope to create programming not just about Dale but about his interests, such as music, sports, and NASCAR history.” Kelley Earnhardt Miller, general manager of JR Motorsports said.
