Hunter says he is a fan of new Twins manger Paul Molitor and it is also worth mentioning that the team added Eddie Guardado as their bullpen coach recently.<\/p>\n
“There are so many reasons,” Hunter said. “You talk about the love from the fans and the love I have for the fans and the organization, growing up there. I came there as a young boy and came out a man. I always hold true to Minnesota Twins values I was taught.”<\/p>\n
Gone are the days in which Hunter was a premium defender but he can still produce at the plate as evident by a .286\/.319\/.446 line in 2014 which included 17 home runs and 83 RBI.<\/p>\n
Other teams believed to be interested in signing Hunter include the Orioles, Royals, Giants and Blue Jays. Hunter intends to choose a team in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n
