Walker&#8217;s departure was not a complete surprise after the Braves struggled again offensively for much of the 2014 season.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Seitzer, a former All-Star, has been hired to replace walker as the Braves hitting coach. <\/p>\n<p>Previously Seitzer has served as the hitting coach for the Diamondbacks, Royals and last season was with the Blue Jays.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Braves?src=hash\">#Braves<\/a> have hired Kevin Seitzer as their new hitting coach.
