He had to be helped off the field and was later seen using crutches in the dugout. An MRI on Tuesday revealed no structural damage in Machado&#8217;s knee.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/m.mlb.com\/shared\/video\/embed\/embed.html?content_id=35282573&amp;topic_id=6479266&amp;width=600&amp;height=336&amp;property=mlb\" width=\"600\" height=\"336\" frameborder=\"0\">Your browser does not support iframes.<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This marks Machado&#8217;s second stint on the DL after he started the year there while recovering from surgery on his left knee.<\/p>\n<p>With Machado headed on the DL, the Orioles recalled infielder Cord Phelps from Triple-A Norfolk. Matt Wieters was transfered to the 60-day DL in order to make room on the 40-man roster for Phelps.<\/p>\n<p>Machado has a .278 batting average with 12 home runs and 32 RBIs in 82 games this season.<\/p>\n<p>The Orioles have Chris Davis playing third base on Wednesday.
