Fans hoping to see New York Mets prospect Noah Syndergaard’s major league debut may have to wait until 2015.<\/p>\n

ESPN New York’s Adam Rubin reports<\/a> that the debut of the right hander may be pushed to next season as “Triple-A Las Vegas is going to be playoff-bound for the second straight year. And Syndergaard may not have innings left after that postseason experience.”<\/p>\n

Currently Syndergaard has thrown 107 innings this season. He is expected to make another four starts for Las Vegas in the regular season and should see at-least one post season start with the team.<\/p>\n

Of course the Mets could choose to give the 21-year-old a taste of the big leagues regardless.<\/p>\n

On the season he has a 4.79 ERA and a 1.54 WHIP in 21 Pacific Coast League starts.<\/p>\n
