Recovery time expected to be 9 months.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Baltimore Orioles (@Orioles) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Orioles\/statuses\/478646899671445505\">June 16, 2014<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Both Wieters and the Orioles had hoped to avoid this situation but the discomfort in his right elbow has continued to linger.
