During his time at the big league level he\u00a0this season he posted a 3.18 ERA and 1.15 WHIP.<\/p>\n<p>For now he will return to Salt Lake as the Angels have called up Wade LeBlanc. The transaction had a lot more to do the Angels needing additional arms after playing 13 innings on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It will hopefully be a short stint for Matt down there,&#8221; said Angels Manager Mike Scioscia, who added that he told Shoemaker to be ready &#8220;for when you go back in our rotation, which will happen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>LeBlanc had made nine starts for Salt Lake compiling a 3.69 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP.
