Fielder met with Dr. Drew Dossett of the Carrell Clinic in Dallas rather than join the Rangers on their trip to Detroit.<\/p>\n<p>Currently Fielder has a .247\/.360\/.360 line with three home runs and 16 RBI in 42 games.<\/p>\n<p>In the offseason the Rangers acquired Fielder from the Tigers for Ian Kinsler. Fielder has six years remaining on his contract after this season.
