The Braves liked what they saw in Floyd and will keep him in their rotation going forward.<\/p>\n<p>Of course Floyd remaining in the Braves rotation means that someone will be coming out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t want to go six-man rotation,\u201d Fredi Gonzalez said via the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ajc.com\/news\/sports\/baseball\/floyd-to-stay-in-braves-rotation\/nfrGd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Atlanta Journal Constitution<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t think it works. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s good. But (Floyd) is one guy that would not go to the bullpen, I don\u2019t think, just because of the Tommy John. We all know how the bullpen thing is. You get up. You get down. You go in. You got to warm up in 15 (pitches), and I don\u2019t want to do that to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Gonzalez did not drop any names as to who would be coming out of the rotation the most likely answer would be Alex Wood.
