In order to make room for Beltre on the active roster his fill-in, Kevin Kouzmanoff, was placed on the disabled list. <\/p>\n<p>Beltre landed on the DL with a strained left quad but he will play Friday night.  In eight games this season Beltre has hit .286\/.394\/.393 with no home runs. Expect that to change as Beltre has hit 28 or more home runs in each of the last four seasons. <\/p>\n<p>Kouzmanoff lands on the DL with a herniated disc in his back. After not being in the majors for two seasons Kouzmanoff had been hitting  .362\/.412\/.617 with two homers and 10 RBI over 13 games for the Rangers.
