I don&#8217;t have everything in,\u201d Rays manager Joe Maddon said on Wednesday, via the <a href=\"http:\/\/tbo.com\/sports\/rays\/decision-on-pitcher-moore-expected-today-20140410\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Tampa Tribune<\/a>. \u201cIt needs to be looked at a little more deeply, because it&#8217;s not a slam-dunk surgery right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While surgery is not guaranteed it is almost certain. If Moore undergoes Tommy John surgery he will miss the rest of the 2014 season and the start of the 2015 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Rays will either insert Cesar Ramos or Erik Bedard into their rotation when Moore&#8217;s turn in the rotation comes up on Sunday. Both pitchers missed out on winning the fifth spot in the Ray rotation this spring.<\/p>\n<p>Over his first 347 innings of work in the majors, Moore owns a 29-17 record, 3.53 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP.
