There had been some speculation that the 34-year-old could retire at the end of the season but Dunn told <a href=\"http:\/\/mlb.mlb.com\/news\/article.jsp?ymd=20140224&amp;content_id=68266298&amp;notebook_id=68288470&amp;vkey=notebook_cws&amp;c_id=cws\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">WhiteSox.com<\/a> that he is planning on returning beyond 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yeah, as of right now, today, yeah. I plan on coming [back],&#8221; said Dunn. &#8220;Again I could go out and stretch and say, &#8216;I&#8217;m done, I&#8217;m not having any fun.&#8217; But I don&#8217;t see that happening today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dunn is planning to wait until late November to make a definite decision. His prospects for a contract will lay a large role on whether he returns.\u00a0Dunn finished the 2013 season hitting .219\/.320\/.442 with 34 home run and 86 RBI.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Whatever is going to help win, I&#8217;m in,&#8221; Dunn said. &#8220;If I&#8217;m not swinging it good and everyone else is, I&#8217;ll sit and watch and do that.
