In 230 big league games Venters owns 258 strikeouts,\u00a02.23 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">\u201cI couldn\u2019t ask for my arm to feel any better, really, than it does,\u201d Venter said, via the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ajc.com\/news\/sports\/baseball\/venters-takes-next-step-in-recovery-from-2nd-tj-su\/ndYdL\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Atlanta Journal Consitution<\/a>. \u201cConsidering I\u2019ve had two Tommy Johns. It\u2019s feeling good, and the ball\u2019s coming out real good\u2026. I think it\u2019s going to be fine, I really do. I don\u2019t see it being any different as the first surgery (because of the long period between).
