Signed to a three-year deal worth $12 million there are a lot of expectations on Cuban pitcher Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez.<\/p>\n

Thus far the 27-year-old has not blown away anyone on the Philadelphia Phillies coaching staff according to Jim Salisbury of CSN Philly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, well, he\u2019s a guy that\u2019s coming back from injury and hasn\u2019t pitched competitively really for a couple of years,\u201d Sandberg said. \u201cI know that we\u2019re using a lot of patience with him. That\u2019s really the biggest part of the strategy with him so we\u2019ll see how things go and how he progresses and really see what that looks like.<\/p>\n
