He told El Nacional newspaper that he was sorry for the &#8220;very embarrassing incident.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old Zambrano rushed onto the field after his\u00a0Navegantes del Magallanes teammate got hit by a pitch in the sixth inning. Both benches emptied as a result.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/y2v_DLc0J2E\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Zambrano last pitched at the major league level in 2012 with the Miami Marlins going 7-10 with a 4.49 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over 132 1\/3 innings of work.<\/p>\n<p>Known for his temper on the mound, Zambrano was suspended by the Chicago Cubs for the final 30 games of 2010 after getting into a shouting match with teammate Derrek Lee.
