I can\u2019t see myself anywhere else at this point in my career.\u201d the pitcher told the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.denverpost.com\/rockies\/2014\/01\/10\/rafael-betancourt-makes-progress-in-elbow-rehab\/16210\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Denver Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now 38, Betancourt is trying to return from surgery after tearing his right elbow ligament on Aug. 22<\/p>\n<p>Betancourt will visit Dr. James Andrews next week and should begin throwing shortly thereafter.\u00a0The Rockiers declined Betancourt&#8217;s $4.25 million option for 2014 and later added La Troy Hawkins and Boone Logan.<\/p>\n<p>Betancourt has posted a 3.08 ERA with 57 saves in 264 appearances with the Rockies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s Colorado or bust for relief pitcher Rafael Betancourt. \u201cIf I pitch again, it will be with the Rockies.
