He will not be on the roster in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old Axelrod had put up solid numbers in the minor leagues before\u00a0posting a 5.68 ERA and 1.66 WHIP in 128 1\/3 innings of work in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>With the decision to non-tender Axelrod the White Sox will have an additional spot on their 40-man roster.<\/p>\n<p>The White Sox also avoided arbitration with catcher Tyler Flowers agreeing to a one-year deal worth $950,000.
