The Oakland Athletics remain interested in adding outfielder Nelson Cruz to their roster.<\/p>\n

As Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle<\/a> reports the A’s have “meaningful interest” in Cruz who reportedly is seeking a four-year deal worth $75 million.<\/p>\n

A match between the A’s and Cruz seems hard to believe as they currently have Yoenis Cespedes, Coco Crisp and Josh Reddick on the roster. Cruz’s salary demands also do not fit in well with the A’s projected payroll.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
