The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown 8:07 pm ET.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Cobb will be pitching for the Rays. Cobb was 11-3 with a 2.76 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 22 starts this season.<\/p>\n<p>Danny Salazar will take to the mound for the Indians. Salarzar made 10 starts this season going 2-3 with a 3.12 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s been a long time since Cleveland&#8217;s had something like this,&#8221; Indians first baseman Nick Swisher said after Cleveland clinched the Wild Card spot on Sunday. &#8220;I hope the fans are as excited as we are.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Progressive Field is sold out for Wednesday&#8217;s game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Indians will meet on Wednesday Oct. 2 in a one game AL Wild Card game at Progressive Field.
