That was his decision. I told him, as a man, I didn&#8217;t respect that &#8230; After a couple minutes he understood that he was wrong and apologized profusely.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p>Theo Epstein upset with Kevin Gregg for voicing complaints to media&#8230;will sleep on it but is considering releasing him&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jesse Rogers (@ESPNChiCubs) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ESPNChiCubs\/statuses\/381188527456649216\">September 20, 2013<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gregg gave up four runs and took a loss in Friday&#8217;s game after coming into a tied game against the Braves in the ninth inning.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the evening Gregg ventured to the press box to drop another apology.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p>Gregg: \u201cIn a conversation I had with Dale unfortunately I didn\u2019t understand what he was saying.
