In that contest Appel allowed two un-earned runs on two hits and walked one. He also recorded two strikeouts.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376057284917_3333\">The Astros plan to have Appel make four or five more starts this season before shutting him down.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376057284917_3278\"><b>ASTRO MOVES<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1376057284917_3281\">On Thursday the Astros promoted Kevin Champan from Triple-A. He will occupy a spot in the bullpen. His promotion came at the expense of Travis Blackley.
