Brandon Beachy will likely be summoned to the major leagues soon after Tim Hudson suffered an ankle injury<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Beachy, 26, also was pitching on Wednesday but at the Triple-A level for Gwinnett. In his final start there Beachy went six innings allowing two runs, one earned, on two hts and four walks. Beachy threw 86 pitches in the contest of which 51 were for strikes.<\/p>\n
