To celebrate the event the team wore special jersey&#8217;s featuring the twitter handles of the teams fans.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/vine.co\/v\/b3IUUHDTE2W\/embed\/simple\" height=\"600\" width=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><script charset=\"utf-8\" type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/platform.vine.co\/static\/scripts\/embed.js\" async=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The TinCaps released the following statement about the jerseys, via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.milb.com\/news\/article.jsp?ymd=20130605&amp;content_id=49725704&amp;fext=.jsp&amp;vkey=news_t584&amp;sid=t584\">MiLB.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe like to say that Fort Wayne TinCaps baseball is \u2018All About You,\u2019\u201d TinCaps Vice President of Marketing\u00a0Michael Limmer\u00a0said. \u201cWith these Social Media Night jerseys, we took that expression to heart and made the jerseys all about our fans and followers. They\u2019ve always had the back of our organization. Now we\u2019re giving back to them on Social Media Night by putting them on the players\u2019 backs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The TinCaps\u2019 marketing department came up with the concept of the jerseys in the offseason and used the handles of those following @TinCaps as of March 11 for the jerseys, which were produced by\u00a0Wilson Sporting Goods. The jerseys are white, with \u201c@TinCaps\u201d printed in red across the chest, and the green-printed Twitter handles adorned throughout.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Fort Wayne TinCaps held social media on Thursday.
