After the Nationals blew a six run lead in the deciding Game 5 of the National League Divisional Series the worst should have been over for the fans. Instead Major League Baseball stuck it to them again.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.natsenquirer.com\/\">Nats Enquirer<\/a> points out National fans opened their e-mail inboxes to find offers for World Series tickets.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was a stunningly stupid error on our part and we apologize to the Nationals and their great fans,&#8221; Bob Bowman, CEO of MLB Advanced Media, told Dan Steinberg of DC Sports Blog.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/mlb\/files\/2012\/10\/nationalsemail.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-277\" title=\"nationalsemail\" src=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/mlb\/files\/2012\/10\/nationalsemail.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"568\" srcset=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/mlb\/files\/2012\/10\/nationalsemail.jpg 630w, http:\/\/tireball.com\/mlb\/files\/2012\/10\/nationalsemail-300x270.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In fairness the e-mail does say &#8220;if necessary&#8221; in regards to games one and two.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Nationals blew a six run lead last night against the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 5 ending their post season run.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Major League Baseball is piling on the Washington Nationals fan base.
