Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Gavin Floyd will have a third opinion on his elbow on Monday. According to Bob Nightengale<\/a>, Floyd “tentatively plans to have “Tommy John,” surgery on torn elbow ligament” which would end the right handers season.<\/p>\n

The injury occurred in Floyd’s last start on Saturday as he was removed in the third inning and subsequently placed on the disabled list.<\/p>\n
