The former first round pick now appears to begin his big league career as a relief pitcher though given his 2.50 ERA in 111 2\/3 innings at Triple-A starts for the 23-year-old should come before too long.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Holland, Tyler Lyons has also been designated for assignment.
