He recently attended a settlement conference for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct which was the result of allegedly pointing a gun at a food delivery person in October.. The trial has another conference scheduled for April 13.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell is expected to see the bulk of the playing time behind home plate for the A&#8217;s in 2018. He appeared in 76 games last season hitting .237\/.329\/.333 with three home runs and 22 RBI.
