Yankee fan or not, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who would argue that Mariano Rivera is not the best closer in baseball.
Today, Yesterday, All time.
On Tuesday night the 43-year-old entered Citi Field to a standing ovation from the crowd and both benches.
With Enter Sandman blasting the sound system at the home of the Mets it was simply the Yankee closer on the field as Rivera tipped his hat and went to work.
What an incredible moment right here. The greatest of all time!!! Enter the Sandman!!! #ASG

Unsurprisingly Rivera sat the National League down in order. In case you were wondering why Rivera was pitching the eighth it was to ensure that he would appear in the game.
Joe Nathan was given the honor of closing the game for the American League. After the game Rivera was named the MVP of the game.
