The Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers have had discussions about a trade that would send reliever Neal Cotts to the Orioles according to T.R. Sullivan.
With Zach Britton moving into the closers role, the Orioles have a need for a left handed reliever.

While a trade is possible, Sullivan notes that the Rangers have left open the option of signing Cotts to an extension.
Cotts owns a 3.52 ERA and 50/18 K/BB ratio over 46 innings this season and could be a nice addition to anyone looking to improve their bullpen.
